...Your Garden Harvest!
Your Garden Harvest means we come to your yard to create, plant, maintain and harvest your garden just for you! You choose the size, the vegetables, your involvement and whether you wish to share your harvests with us or your neighbours.
Step 1: We meet with you and evaluate your land. We will help you choose your vegetables and plan your garden.
Step 2: Then the fun starts! Lake City Farmers return to create your garden. Your garden will be complete with soil, seeds or plants, drip irrigation and pathways.
Option 1: Should you choose, we return weekly to maintain and harvest your garden. There will be succession planting, maintenance of the irrigation system, harvesting of your crops and general garden maintenance including weed and bug control. When we leave, your harvest will be at your door!
Option 2: Share the bounty! To save on the cost of weekly maintenance, you may choose to contribute part of your garden harvest to our CSA program or Market table. This option is greatly appreciated by us at Lake City Farm and our CSA members.
Your food will be grown steps from your doorway! Lake City Farm does not use herbicides or pesticides - only natural soil supplements. It’s all low tech, low water usage and great for the environment. So you know where your food comes from and how it’s grown!
